If the picture is clearly from AF and has their copyright notice then you may not post it. It doesnt matter the size of the image you post, we do not own the copyright to these pictures and the copyright holder has now decided they dont want you posting their pictures on here anymore. Let me say it's NOT our decision, it's theirs. We respect their wishes and ask you to help our moderators by doing the same.

As others have already said, there are plenty of pictures available elsewhere on the internet. I don't think anyone will be going short of pictures just because one site has changed its policy on fans accessing its pictures.

Look all I'm saying is that this Lycos forum is not mine and I respect and obey the rules and regulations that is imposed upon me as the end user every time I visit the site.

But at the same time I see that there're lots and lots of willing fans who are willing to share their goodies (meaning the photos and other media stuff) that are otherwise banned in this forum.... so my question is how are us fans going to work together and share those "banned" goodies so we all can enjoy them, that's all.

Hey I love this forum just as much as each one of you but I think we need to work together to overcome some of the hurdles that are unfairly imposed upon us.

I do not want to subscribe to annafans yet, because they emailed me they only added 2 new photosets. Someone should pay when they have added lots of new stuff.

I was just wondering how the mods are going to qualify those bunches of pics as coming from annafans or not if they do not have the original logos on them, are of different sizes and resolutions? What more! you can add your own logos or they can even have logos of multiple Anna sites on the web. My point is that it is not possible to recognize and qualify every (especially new one) pic and delete it, so cheer up and post!!!:toast:

Well trust me on this I see in 85% of the cases that it is a AF photo. But the same photo could be purchased by other newsmagazines and that is where the grey area begins.

BTW does anyone know what a digimark® is? Can you protect your pictures whit that? Maybe that’s something for you Wolfy

esto es una jalada, si yo compro una foto de AF yo puedo hacer con ella lo que yo quiera, ya que adquiero todos los derechos sobre esa foto.
lo que pasa es que este sito a crecido mucho y ellos han bajado mucho su audiencia por eso estan preocupados.

I think the digimark®, is a trade mark indicator. Such as Lycos®.

and one is not allowed to use it for with out permission.

i dont know if any of you remeber me but ive been posting here for awhile,

well anyway im bac, i just wanted to say that i was a bit sad when i got the e-mail to hear that Anna fans.com were going to charge for the pictures, but i thought fare enough they have to pay to get the pictures so yeah, i could see the point.

but then, them asking us to not post the ones that someone has got, is a bit unfair,

but rules are rules & life is unfair....!!
