Default WOW!

Why do you feel the need to attack me? What is it that I've done that makes you so angry with ME? This is a board issue. I didn't mention any one person. It was Oct who called me out. I just responded to his post. That's all. Then you call me out. Why? The post you were responding to was not pointed at you. I don't even know who you are. I'm sorry if you don't agree with my posts but that's your perogitive. You can feel how you want. If you want to join in that's fine. But don't attack me on a personal level. It's childish and doesn't get anything solved. If you have something to add to the conversation, then just do so.

It's like Rite Aid ran out of enimas or something. Gees.

Ok thanks for everyones opinions.

At the end of the day, there still is going to be some sort of grey area as to what is and what is not allowed.

So whose perception is it as to whether a picture contains sexual content...well ours of course.

We may get some right, we may get some wrong. So if you think something has even the slightest possibility of being removed, then still post it, and we will be the judge. The worst that could happen is that it will simply be deleted. Its only when you become a repeat offender and obviously havent learnt, when warnings, bans etc come into play. Of course any pic with explicit content will get you into trouble too.

Now if its those other photos which tickle your fancy, then there a probably 1000s of other websites dedicated to that stuff.

So just to conclude, some others things you could consider before posting a questionable photo would be:

This is Anna's OFFICIAL site, put together by people in the best interests of Anna.

Would you have any second thoughts about the picture if it was your own daughter, or sister there?

Now as for what i said about posting pics showing that anna is great athelete. All i was saying is that this is what you could focus on more. It doesnt mean you have to do that. Of couse we all recognise that anna is a beautiful woman, so any shots which she has posed for a more than welcome.

Default my opinion

WEll I think most of the arguments have been stated well - but i do specifically agree with Typeoholic's statement on maturity and respect in posting.....listen people we are all adults here and can freely express our opinions as long as they are respectful of each other. I strongly believe that Typeoholic made a strong case - very respectfully and maturely - for identifying some unclear boundaries based on individual interpretation. With that said - he in no way attacked anyone of us - his statement was more Socratic in challenging the logic of an argument. I dont see why anyone of you would take his post personal and feel the need to attack him. It's immature and not going to accomplish anything in a positive light. If you disagree with him - or me - or anyone for that matter - challenge/attack the statements with logic and reason - and devolop a counter argument. Please dont attack the individual because you dont agree with him/her. Just my two cents on the situation.

Default My final thoughts

I just want to take a moment to wrap up my thought on this subject. It's been discussed and I think it should be put to rest.

Again, Juggler has made the most sense of the situation. I think his last post has plenty of useful information for all of us. It all comes down to common sense in my opinion. I don't agree with the views of every member or moderator but I respect thier opinions. No matter how different they are from mine.

Manni made a good point that was overlooked. Basically I think the point was that it's not fair to have a "Do as I say, not as I do" system. I just wanted to acknowledge it. Thanks Manni.

Tackitt, thanks for your support.

Steam: I've been thinking about your comments about me taking a "Customer is always right" position. I don't know if you realize this or not, but if I was saying that, I was talking about you as well. If that was the situation I was sticking up for you as well as everyone else. However, I know that the "customer" isn't always right. But that doesn't mean that the management is always right either. And tell me this, if you're such a good board member, why do you have a code violation? I don't really want to know I just wanted to point it out. It seems that you're alienating both sides of the situation. That's all

Oct_1: I may not agree with your opinion or think that everything you do is right. That doesn't mean I think you're a bad person or that I'm better than you. I just don't agree. It's not appropriate however to attack me on a personal level as a moderator. If you have something to add to the conversation I welcome your thoughts. But take a look at Juggler's posts. It doesn't have to be a personal issue to get a point across. Thanks.

Well, that's it. Thanks to everyone who posted. It's good to hear people's thoughts. Even if we don't all agree.

Call you out?? What is this WWF Smackdown? Anyway, I was just stating the case since it was pretty obvious (to me at least) what the moderators were trying to accomplish in this scourge of the earth forum. It's easy to use semantics and try to look smart.

On to your next post, I don't need you arguing for me on that position. If I disagreed with something that the moderators did or were doing I would voice my opinion too but in the case where it was in the best interests of the board (as is this) then I wouldn't have a problem with it.

As for your question, the "code violation" was for quoting a line out of the movie "Tommy Boy" and applying it to a board member. But that was over a month ago so who cares? That doesn't mean that I don't realize that this step was vital to the board.

And in no way did I make it personal. If I did you would have known.

A correction, not everyone IS an adult here. This community has some 37,000 members now and I'm certain a healthy percentage of those members aren't adults. Please bare that in mind when you forcefully argue the right to post certain images to these boards.

We have also posted the official code of conduct relating to ALL areas of the community at the following URL:
http://community.kournikova.com/misc...action=conduct

These are the guidelines which all our moderators are asked to work with. If you have any comments or suggestions to make about the code of conduct, please make them in the following forum/thread:

Thanks everybody!

Nick.

Default You're wrong, loser.

:director: Temp, You're so really in the wrong. First of all did you not read what Anna has said in interviews in the past years or what one of the mods said about the sexual content and how she wants to be perceived? First of all, I don't care how beautiful you are, no girl works hard to be anything sexual. Girls can have sex appeal but it is about how you work it in attitude and prescence and yes, she has done a job very well of carrying herself. She is both a woman, businesswoman and professional athlete and I think you need to reevaluate those things before you go around saying that any woman works hard to be potrayed as a media porn star okay! :director: :saywhat: ;putamad; :boxer:

You just summed up a lot of what I've been thinking. I'm gonna have to remember this. Can I quote you on that?
