For reasons beyond tennis, Anna Kournikova has been terribly lost to the Open. But she is not completely gone. Victoria Azarenka is close friends with the original tennis ''glamazon'' Kournikova and is trying to tease back a little of the Russian's style to the game. Azarenka is a shorts wearer, like Kourni. ''I used to watch her growing up, coming on tour. She's a very sweet person, she's a good friend of mine. I met her a few times in Miami because she lives there. I actually kind of have a little bit of her style here of shorts - bringing back a little of her style. But I think she is a very nice person and I like her a lot. We get along well.'' Kournikova in fact came out to watch Azarenka at the open last year and teased at the idea she might yet be here again this year. ''Yeah she came last year to watch me play. She said she ate about two packets of gum because she was so nervous. It's like, 'next time I might not come'.''

Hi, everybody! Victoria Azarenka tweeted with her friend and partner Victoria Lopyreva, and our Anna on Thursday Night, March 22, at a Miami restaurant between her matches during the Sony Ericsonn Open. Anna probably took photos of both ladies at the restaurant, as she did with E and his fan, posted at Victoria Azarenka's Twitter account.
