So Who All Is Still Here?

So, I was just curious who all from the 2005-2007 time range is still here and posting/reading? I've seen a few names I recognize, I know my three friends I had here don't post anymore, though, sadly (Akash, Davvy, DF, y'all need to come back! lol). But if you were here around that time frame, post so I can say "hi"!

Also, I have something I would like to say to the ones who were around back then, but mainly to mikeryanadam and steam. I apologize. I've been reading a lot of my old posts again and there were many times where I had gotten pretty out of hand. I still want to defend myself on a few of those times, I still felt as if I was being provoked in certain cases, but my use of language and my respectfulness in general could have been better. Don't get me wrong, I still do my share of cussing, but I was very quick back then to resort to that and I would like to apologize to the ones whom my aggression was aimed at. I'd like to think I've grown up a lot in the couple of years since I was a regular poster here and I'm confident that I've moved past all of that. So, for the ones whom I've offended, I apologize again and I hope we can start fresh.

Thanks! It's cool to be back, I haven't been here in forever. There's a lot of memories in this place for me. So I'm happy I came back, its fun to think back on everything that went on here. All of the various arguments, lol. :-P And the fun times, of course. A lot of really awesome people were here.

Eh, I did need to apologize. I was pretty nasty at times. I was just in a really bad place at the time, you know? And I took my frustration out on all of the wrong people (you in particular, you always just tried to help). But that's not really an excuse, though.

Yeah, for sure! I'm not much of a message board person anymore, but I'm going to try and get back into the habit I think. It'll be fun talking with everyone again.

Speaking of, you have any idea on any of the old members and whether they still post/lurk? I saw paddyirl still posts. And I still talk to Davenport sometimes, haven't talked to anyone else since I left, though. I actually tried e-mailing DF_Films earlier today but I doubt he still uses the e-mail address I had of his. You wouldn't happen to know what happened with akashb17, would you? He was always a good friend I had on here and it'd be cool to catch up with him. And it's nice to talk with you again! Hopefully things will go better between us this time (things on my part, of course).

Anyway, Oberlaender, that's very true. It'd be cool if some of the older members who had left just happened to stop by, though. Have a big ol' reunion type thing, lol.

Used to hear from Dav through PM but has been a long time. Paddy just started posting again or more often I should say. Many senior members still check in from time to time and occasionally post yet. I know there are others that were on the same time and know they are still in and out but no one has posted much as during your era(whom people knew as the groupies). I know many are near and hope they come out to welcome you back and as well, post themselves.

Again, I know we "agreed to disagree" many times but just part of being who we are, our belief system and with me being a mod I still get alot because my presence is still daily on the forums. Many times I have to make choices and in all cases some may be right, some may be wrong but I try to do what is in the best interest of the forums and what was directed and still is by our administration. I really do not know what happened to akash as he is still listed as mod but has not been around pretty much since becoming one.

As you and many others know I can be harsh at times and know I will never get along with all but I do try to make it so that things are not one-sided and try to be fair to everyone. I ask many that if they question why I do anything the way I do to please PM me and sometimes that has swayed decisions. We use that in our mod forums as well. jojoseph and roxas are still here and have helped me tremendously. romania posts often but is the "quieter" mod but probably the most informative of all as far as pics, articles, etc..,

We still have a great community of members/regulars.

Woo AJ, I remember you from the good years of 05-07.

Most of the others are gone like Akash, he used to be on MSN and doesn't even go on that these days so I have no idea where he went.

Mike: Oh ok, well I e-mailed Davvy earlier today. If/When he replies, I'll try and get him to stop back here and say "hey." But alright, well, for the ones who were around back then: say "hi!" I wanna talk and catch up, lol! And the groupies, huh? I always wanted to be a groupie. :P If you ask me, it should have been known as the fight era since that's all we ever did. Heck, me and Dav even had our fights and we were best friends here! lol. But anyway, like I said, if you're still here after all of these years, post please!

You agreed to disagree, I agreed to yell at you. :P But, as I said, I've changed a lot since then and I'm definitely more able to control myself when I'm angry. But, and this is mainly for steam if he ever reads it, I did truly have health problems back then. I developed a nice case of depression (though never medically diagnosed, you can't tell me I didn't suffer from it, though) and I ended up cutting myself after a while. I eventually got to where I was suicidal at times. My parents felt it was so bad at one point that they sent me to a hospital for a little while for it. So yeah, it definitely wasn't a joke. I'm just now starting to get over everything and feel better again. But, again, that still isn't an excuse if you ask me. I was very much of out line. But now we all can for sure agree to disagree. I mean, if we ever find ourselves disagreeing.

Honestly, I don't really feel you were that harsh. To me anyway. Like I said, I know you were just trying to help and I finally have come to appreciate that.

It's too bad no one seems to know what happened with akash. I really miss him, he was really cool. Honestly, I think I had a bit of an internet crush on him, lol. :P He was just really funny and a really sweet person to me. Hopefully he'll decide to stop by here one day and say "hey."

EDIT: As you can see, I haven't changed THAT much. I still use smilies every two sentences, lol.

EDIT#2: Forgot to ask, how are you two doing? Everything going good for you both?
