The couple bought the land for about $9 million and are spending another $11 million on construction. The property, which is situated next to the water, is said to feature a ‘futuristic’ design.
Enrique and Anna were photographed walking around the construction site holding hands and kissing while inspecting the work.

No hard hats - not very safety conscious!! Anyway, this certainly explains Anna selling her beautiful home (I wonder if it has sold?). It looks massive but I guess they have earned their money and it is nice that they will finally be sharing a place together. Clearly they aren't too concerned about global warming and rising sea-levels

The numbers that were mentioned in that Rumorfix post are maybe not totally correct..I have a bit different info, but I won't say it here since I respect Enrique's privacy..it's already bad enough for him that this has leaked out to the press now and the paparazzi know he's building a new one..considering how he values his privacy so much..

What I do want to make clear though, is that is was Enrique who bought the land (back in 2009), tore down the old house that was on it and is now constructing this new one..So it seems not any of her money is in it, actually I think her name is not mentioned on any of the (public) records..So essentially this is/will become Enrique's house- but I suppose she probably will be living in it as well when it is finished..

Hi, everybody! Enrique Iglesias And Anna Kournikova are the future owners of a luxurious and comfortable mansion in Miami Beach. The couple takes some time to build the building, and frequently visits (E) his new home, to make everything goes to E's requests.

The new crib is on track to be completed by December 2011.
